Classic Car Marketing, Inc. Southern California’s premier marketing company is pleased to introduce this new listing offered for sale by one of our clients. The design of the 1959 Cadillac with its rocket tail fins and jet pod tail lights was considered the most radical, innovative, futuristic, and certainly cutting edge Cadillac of its time. Fast forward to today and…. well, some things never change. “WILDCAD” was intended to be a radical custom car that would push the boundaries of what a “custom car” could be. The aim was to build a traditional looking custom while incorporating the engineering and performance of a modern street machine. The theme of the car was influenced by the space ship themed winged cars of the era and the owners favorite TV show “The Jetsons” The interior in particular, needed to compliment this theme to make the car look and feel ‘out of this world’. And it certainly succeeded beyond this owners wildest dreams. After 6 years and countless hours invested in the design, fabrication and build details, let us introduce you to what is considered to be the finest custom Cadillac ever built: “WILDCAD” Chassis: Starting with a 59’ Cadillac coupe, a mono-construction chassis was designed and constructed to achieve the stance, performance and custom metal interior envisioned for the car. The chassis consists of Jaguar front suspension, 4-linked 9 inch Ford diff, Air-Ride Technologies and 4 wheel Wilwood braking system. The chassis was grafted into the body and custom swaged floor pans and new extended sills were installed. The chassis was designed so the brake lines, fuel line and all wiring is contained inside the car and is not visible. No item of the driveline sits below the level of the bottom of the chassis rail, allowing WILDCAD to sit on its belly. Exhaust runs through the center tunnel and exits through the center of the rear bar. Engine: The engine & driveline is a rebuilt 454 big block Chevy (.030 over) mated to a TH400 transmission. A custom engine cover was fabricated in metal to compliment the new custom metal fabricated firewall, inner guards and front apron panel. A new custom aluminum radiator was fitted and the engine is fully dressed with polished finned rocker covers and serpentine pulley kit. The custom tail shaft was flamed and coupled to a Ford 9 inch diff fitted with 3.11 gears, custom 4 link kit. Body Mods: 5 inch roof chop with one off custom glass front and rear made from hand fabricated steel frames and fiberglass molds. Suicide doors with remote. Shortened trunk and lengthened hood to the front window with the front opening shortened and radiused then reverse swung. Front grille is a modified 55 Desoto with 55 Caddy dagmars fitted into a modified 59 Caddy lower bar. Rear tail lights are 60 T-Bird grafted into the original rear bar extended to house the rear exhaust exit. Interior: The interior concept was drawn up and designed before being fabricated and sculpted entirely out of bare metal with white hand stitched leather seating for comfort. A 59 Chevy dash instrument cluster houses Classic Instruments gauges and is set off by a polished Billet Specialties steering column, steering wheel, B&M shifter and aluminum Lokar pedals. The passenger side of the Chevy dash was used in the rear parcel tray. A 59 Cadillac tailfin was used as the center console, housing the computerized touch control Air Ride, and was molded into the transmission tunnel. A metal headliner was made from a second 59 Cadillac turret, with fully enclosed sculpted metal pillars and door skins. Gene Winfield’s signature adorns the tailfin that also provides interior lighting via the bullet purple lights. The rear parcel tray features a “Koolsville” third brake light, polished aluminum strips, a Cadillac crest and V-badge and purple and white pinstriping. The metalwork was covered in PPG silver with purple faded highlights. To complete the look and feel of this magnificent custom the trunk is finished off in polished stainless throughout. Paint: The builder flew Gene Winfield to Australia to apply one of his trademark “fade-away” paint jobs on WILDCAD using PPG Vibrance paint. Low-line ghost flames were applied using pearl whites, all topped off with a fine metal flake clear. The undercarriage, engine bay, and running gear have been finished to show quality. Special Accolades: George Barris “Kustome D’Elegance” GNRS, 2011, “King of Kustoms” Sacramento Autorama, 2011. “Top Custom of 2010” Sydney Motorex (Australia’s largest car show). “D’Elegance Award” Showcase of Kustoms, 2010, and “GM Design Award” SEMA, 2010. WILDCAD was built in Sydney, Australia and is certainly the One and Only Best of the Best and a must have for the custom enthusiast. Appraised at over $700,000. Call for pricing. Jameslist - à vendre : Chevrolet Bel Air (49900 USD), lieu : Arlington, Texas, United States

Tri five Chevy's are cool but there is just something unique about the 1958 model. You rarely see these cars out at shows so people love checking them out. They have a look that's all their own with cool dual front lights, the curved fins in rear, and all of that beautiful stainless trim. The classic you see here has undergone a complete frame-off, rotisserie restoration. The car was purchased in 2003 from the Tucson, Arizona area. That means it hasn't been subjected to the salty air that rusts out a lot of classics on the coast. During the next 4 years the car was totally stripped, sand and bead blasted, powder coated, and rebuilt from the ground up. Completely new parts were used where possible with all of the rare components being all redone and rebuilt. The odometer was set to all “zeros" and as of this date the mileage is under 800. All of the bodywork was done professionally and finished in the very rare Sierra Gold color. The chrome work was all done by Show & Go and all stainless was restored by hand. All glass is new so the troubled task of chasing down perfectly fitting pieces is nothing to worry about. Cragar 16” wheels with Firestone Indy 500 tires complete the exterior of this beautifully finished custom car. A new, in the crate, ZZ4 Chevy 350, 355 HP, V-8, was bolted to the mounts and attached to a Turbo 350 transmission. The drive shaft was professionally turned and balanced, and the rear end was completely rebuilt. A SBC Front Runner serpentine belt system with generator, power steering pump, and new AC compressor (all chrome) was bolted to the front of the engine, along with Chevrolet chrome valve covers and an Edelbrock 4 barrel carburetor. A Chevrolet chrome air cleaner tops the engine and an aluminum radiator from Griffin keeps the car running cool at all times. The chassis was totally rebuilt with front disc brakes, rear drum brakes, new coil springs, and 605 power steering. Bilstein shocks were also used and were custom built in Germany just for this car. How many cars could you say had two totally unique sounds? Well this classic does! The sound of a car is one of the hugest features and is entirely dependent on how it was built. You can't just buy a new quick part to get the perfect sound, it has to be built right. Well this car has one of the coolest exhaust systems around. The exhaust is unique in that the Sanderson headers into dual exhaust pipes continue to the rear through performance mufflers. Then a second set of loud mufflers are connected to the main pipes with QTP electric cutouts (which toggle inside the car) to open the second set of mufflers for awesome sound. You can pull up to any show and really get every ones attention with just the press of a button. The loud mufflers can be shut off when cruising down the highway. All wiring was replaced with a Painless wiring harness with wiring in the engine compartment being hidden out of site. The interior starts with the IDIDIT tilt steering column complete with cruise control, turn signal, dimmer switch, and tranny lever on the post. The steering wheel is a classic retrofit from IDIDIT. The upholstery is all the Anniversary Gold which looks great next to the body color. Vintage Air air conditioning was added along with power windows, power locks, and keyless entry. The interior is all new original from CARS, INC. The seats frames were sand blasted and powder coated before reinstalling. Seat belts for six passengers were retrofitted for safety. Complete insulation for heat and sound attenuation from Quietride Solutions was added before the interior was completed. A 200 watt amplifier and compact disc system compliments the new USA-6 radio with front and rear speakers. THIS IS TRULY A JEWEL, READY FOR PROVIDING MANY HOURS OF CRUISIN’ ENJOYMENT!!! This car is worth a lot more then the low asking price of $49,900.00!

The 1962 Corvette marked the end of an era for Americas sports car, with the first completely new model in its history now a mere model year away. Still, the 1962 was a transitional model in that it introduced the venerable 327 V-8, which would be carried over to the new design. While the car harkened back to its roots as a 1953 introduction, thanks to Bill Mitchell, Zora Arkus-Duntov, and company, the 1962 was faster, handled better, looked handsomer, and was more civilized than any previous Corvette, but retained much of the charm of the original roadster concept. Sales on the year jumped by nearly 40 percent to 14,531 units, and the Corvette was firmly in the black as far as GMs bottom line was concerned. This stunning, Fawn Beige 62 is one of the most solid C1rsquo;s that we have had in stock for a long time.nbsp; The current owner has owned it for the last 4 years and over that time has tastefully restored and meticulously cared for it.nbsp; Some of the items addresses include brand new white canvas soft top, new paint, all new chrome, new brake system and much more.nbsp;nbsp; The clock and wonderbar radio both are still in working condition.nbsp;According to an appraisal conducted in 2008, all major mechanical items are stock originals including the 327 300 hp motor and 4 speed manual transmission.nbsp; The appraiser rated all items at above average including paint, fiberglass body, and mechanicals.nbsp; Our in house Corvette expert has been raving about this car since the day it came in, and for good reason.nbsp; If you have been looking for an unmolested C1, you owe this car a look.nbsp; Please give us a call or email to learn more or schedule a visit to our showroom.

Acquired by the current owner in 2007, the car has been regularly maintained by a local engineer who has kept the car to a good mechanical order. The work over the period of ownership can be summarised as:

Þ Replace lights - 2 headlamp bowls and bezels, number plate lights, sealed beam units and sidelights

Þ New rear exhaust system

Þ Reconditioned steering rack

Þ Overhaul o/s rear axle oil seal

Þ Rear brake pads

Þ Correct wiring harness for rear lights

Þ Overhaul starter motor

Þ Overhaul distributor & replace plugs, points, condenser, rotor arm and cap.

Þ Replace tyres with 5 x Avons

Þ Fit rear seat belts

Þ Fit heavy duty battery

However, stored in an ordinary private garage, it is accepted that while the car is a great runner, a future owner will want to attend to the paintwork which shows signs of age.

There is continuing huge demand for Touring’s Superleggera Aston Martins with the DB6 Mark 2 model probably being the fastest appreciating example. With scope for cosmetic improvement, 4289 is offered with a value for money price tag but lacks none of the virtues of the model or the marque and is highly recommended.

Details are coming soon on this very famous and popular full custom!! This full custom was built from a California Lincoln Zephyr sedan by the noted custom builder Jim Bones Noteboom of Hemet, CA. We are told that this Zephyr cost about $450,000 to build. This has won numerous awards, Best of Show and was on a national tour with Meguirs Wax, etc. The body was transformed by noted metalman Ken Grinnings. The gorgeous buckskin leather interior was done by legendary Ron Mangus of Gabes Auto Interior. When building this custom Bones wanted it to be drivable and dependable. He chose to install a 300 hp double overhead cam aluminum V8 out of a 1996 Lincoln Mk VIII with the stock four speed automatic transmission. The front end and suspension is from TCI and it has four wheel disc brakes. The Zephyr comes with a custom made 24 enclosed trailer. For further details please call Harry at 951.901.5088 or email us at harry@classicpromenade.com.

The set up of this race car was completed by Colin Blower of TVR fame and, measured on the dyno, it developed 390 bhp. Running on the original chassis, with considerable strengthening, the car has a full roll cage making it considerably stiffer.

The suspension is via coil springs over fully adjustable dampers and the car has rose jointed suspension mounts and a fully adjustable front anti roll bar. Brakes are 6 pot front callipers.

Driven through a 4 speed dog box with Jack Knight gears and triple plate AP racing clutch with Tilton mechanism, the power comes from a highly developed 4.5 racing engine with a steel crank, special piston rods, camshafts and 55 DCOE Weber carburettors. Mapped ignition is via MSD and the car sits on 16” x 6” 72 spoke Motor Wheel Service wire wheels and was campaigned on Yokohama Advan tyres.

This car has a superb track pedigree over three decades – the current owner contested the 2010 Val des Terres Hill Climb in Guernsey with a Class win in the Hill Climb then in the Credit Suisse Jersey Festival the same year came second in class. But for health problems, there would have been more in 2011 but those issues persist and are why the car has come back to the market

So this is a car that offers far more than an ordinary Aston Martin DB5 – it is a well prepared, well presented thoroughbred with the silverware to back up its reputation on the track. Even for a novice Aston racer, if offers a competitive car with huge potential and for one with more experience, a podium finisher with realistic Championship aspirations.

Mercedes-Benz created a continuing success when it combined its competent, elegantly styled, luxurious 280SE 111-series chassis with its 3,499cc single overhead camshaft Bosch electronic fuel injected V-8 engine. Introduced at the Frankfurt Auto Show in 1969, the hardtop coupe cost $13,766 POE in 1971. With 230 SAE brake horsepower, 232 ft-lb torque, transistorized ignition and a smooth 4-speed automatic transmission, the 280SE 3.5 was fast (9.5 seconds 0-60), comfortable and had superior roadholding. Over the years they have continued to satisfy collectors seeking the finest quality, luxury and performance. This 1971 Mercedes-Benz 280SE 3.5 Coupe is nicely equipped with automatic transmission, power steering, power disc brakes, power windows, a JVC stereo and Behr air conditioning. The wheels have full Mercedes-Benz hubcaps painted to match the silver body and whitewall radial tires while the trunk has the spare wheel and tire and correct original jack. The silver paint has been redone at some point over a straight body and is sound with some checking noted on the hood. The black leather interior is original, in good condition but showing wear as is the interior wood trim. The wood under the windshield shows the effects of condensation moisture and needs to be refinished. The engine bay is tidy and orderly with an expensive Mercedes-Benz branded battery but it has not been restored. This is a good-looking sound and usable largely original car that offers unusual value for money.

The Camaro was built with a full custom chassis that incorporates a 4-link system and smoothed custom floor boards. The undercarriage looks as nice as the top, and the same super clean look was incorporated into the engine compartment of the car. All of the extra lines and wires have been neatly tucked away.

The nicely incorporated frame rides on a set of Air-Ride Shockwaves in the front and rear for a fully adjustable ride and a very aggressive looking stance. The car can be driven with a number of different suspension heights all made possible by the front custom wheel wells and the rear mini tubs. The car has very strong Wilwood brakes on all four corners and a trick Wilwood brake and clutch pedal set up. The rotors are drilled and slotted and the calipers are all fed by stainless lines. The handling is excellent as is the ride on both the street and on the highway.

The engine is a trick 355 small block which makes 10.5 to 1 compression and is equipped with a Lunati VooDoo cam, roller rockers and a Crower stack injection intake which has been converted to EFI and is controlled by a F.A.S.T computer and injectors. This small block really rips and the look is incredible. Snapping off quick shifts is a T56 6-speed transmission connected to Ford 9-inch rear end with 3.55 posi traction gears. The wheels are American Torque Thrusts that measure 18x7 in the front and 20x10 in the rear.

The interior of the Camaro is all custom and features Ultra-Leather with Ostrich inserts. The seats are from a late model Camaro and the dash board is styled after a mid year Corvette. The dash features all Autometer gauges and custom carbon fiber trim. The car has a deleted rear seat and custom center console which houses the shifter and the Air-Ride controls. The look is incredible.

People break their necks to catch a glance at the Camaro when its out and about. The look combines the best of new and old and the ride is pretty sweet if we might say.

For some reason, people love first generation Camaros. Whether its their tasteful good looks, or their excellent performance credentials, or even just sentimentalism about the golden age of the automobile, these early Chevy pony cars generate attention like few other vehicles do. In fact, one of the coolest parts of owning an F1 Camaro is the constant stream of comments and compliments you get from both car guys and random admirers alike. This striking LeMans Blue 1968 Camaro drop top with custom white stripes and a hot 327 under the hood is sure to elicit double takes and stir up conversation from interested people wherever you go.

Restored to a very high standard, this 68 Camaro is perfect for cruising around town and spending time at the local shows. The cars solid and dent free body exhibits correct panel fit with a properly functioning hood, trunk and doors and all panel gaps are straight and narrow providing an excellent canvas for GMs dynamic LeMans Blue paint. Once that bright blue dried, the car was topped with a white Super Sport stripe that flows across the header panel to both front wheel openings, and traditional white Z/28 rally stripes that run from under the convertible boot to the cars rear valence. The result is a flashy mirror-like body, with a cool stripe package that gives the car a different identity at every angle and, given the factory accuracy of the graphics, looks surprisingly fitting.

Up front, a stainless trimmed 68 Camaro grille houses clear headlights and parking lights on either side of a centered, vertically oriented Chevrolet emblem. Below that grille, a showroom fresh chrome bumper rides above a correct steel tag bracket thats mounted to a clean front valence. At the sides of the car, great looking stainless fender trim, chrome GM door handles and a chrome drivers side mirror give the car a finished look and contrast the deep blue paint very nicely. In keeping with the simplistic theme of the rest of the car, ornamentation is limited to white inlayed chrome 327 emblems at the inside corners of the SS stripe and chrome Camaro scripts placed just in front of the doors on the front fenders. At the top of the car, a white vinyl top rises from a stainless trimmed boot to connect to a stainless trimmed windshield which presents as new. At the rear, an option D80 decklid spoiler aligns well with the rear fenders and sits above two clear chrome trimmed tail lights, a body matched fuel filler cap and another show worthy wrap around chrome bumper.

Under the hood youll find a clean and reliable 327 cubic inch V8 thats been painted satin black to match the engine bay. On top of that 327, a satin black single snorkel air cleaner features a correct 327 Turbo Fire decal and sends air into a big 4 barrel carburetor. Below that 4 barrel carburetor, youll find an Edelbrock aluminum intake that houses a correct points distributor which sends sparks through AC Delco Packard suppression wires. At the sides of the intake, black valve covers sit above ceramic coated headers which send gases into a body length true dual exhaust system. In front of the engine, fresh V-belts spin a correct fan and a cool chrome alternator, and on the right side of the motor, a correct Delco battery features an aftermarket kill switch. The engine bay is clean from its stainless fender braces to its straight fire wall, and the engine fires up nicely, idles smoothly, and can be driven all day long.

That reliable 327 is backed by the cars original Turbo-Hydramatic 350 transmission which sends power to a 10 bolt rear end with a stainless differential cover. All chassis and suspension equipment appears to be in good shape and power steering and power front disc and rear drum brakes are a welcome addition to handling. A new aluminized exhaust system runs from the cars headers into Ultra Flo performance mufflers, and the cars new brake booster sends fluid through recently replaced hoses and fresh stainless lines. At the corners, 15 inch silver rally wheels are mounted to F70-15 Goodyear Redline tires and capped by nice stainless trim rings and correct Chevrolet stamped stainless center caps. Built for the street, the bottom of this car wasnt detailed to the nines, but the undercoating is tidy and all the panels are clean and free of rust and dents. Mechanically, the car feels sound and I wouldnt hesitate to drive it across town or across the state.

Inside the car, a standard blue vinyl interior looks completely natural against the cars bright blue exterior paint and provides a comfortable cruising environment. The front bucket and rear bench seats are in great shape and feel so firm that they must have received new foams during the recent restoration. At the sides of the seats, front and rear door panels present well and feature correct stainless trim, correct black Camaro emblems and chrome door and window handles. Below the seats, good looking blue carpet is protected by blue rubber floor mats and presents very little fading, despite being mounted in an open top car. On top of the carpet, a nice blue console houses the cars horseshoe shifter for the automatic transmission inside of chrome trimmed wood applique that nicely contrasts the blue interior. Above the console, the dash houses cool looking rebuilt gauges with brushed stainless faces, controls for the cars heater/defroster and a correct radio. In front of the driver youll find a fantastic looking silver spoked steering wheel that features black accents and a matching blue rim. Behind the back seat a matching blue convertible boot sits above a correctly restored trunk which includes a houndstooth mat, a correct spare tire and a correct jack.

Documentation for this car includes an owners manual and a few restoration photos.

Turn-key cars dont get much nicer than this fully sorted 68 Camaro convertible. Featuring excellent workmanship and an eye toward drivability, its a very simple update on a timeless Camaro design that you can show and enjoy without worry for years. If youre looking for an ultra-clean and fresh first generation Camaro with a few unique touches, this car is for you. Call today!

SS DELPHINE is an exceptional steam ship built in 1921 and totally rebuilt between 1997 and 2003, thanks to her passionate owners, into a modern classic super yacht with a unique character.

Although she has kept her 2 incredible steam engines, she is now equipped with all the modern technology equipment and boasts a very luxurious and comfortable interior.

DELPHINE has a 5 deck layout, 3 wonderful outside decks combined with opulent entertaining, dining and living salons.

Launched in 1921 in Michigan, SS DELPHINE was the largest yacht built in USA that is still in existence today. Her original owner, Horace Dodge of American automobile fame, died four months before its completion. The yacht passed into the hands of his family. In 1926, she caught fire and sank in the Hudson River. Five months later in NY, she was re-launched back to former glory.

During last world war, DELPHINE was placed into naval service and renamed USS DAUNTLESS and unofficially acted as the presidential yacht.

After the war, the Dodge family repurchased her from the Navy and got finally sold to the Lundeberg Maryland Seamanship School in 1968 where she served as steam ship training vessel for the next 18 years.

Since 1986, she passed into the hands of a succession of owners until she was bought by her current owner in 1997.

Between 1997 and 2003, she was totally upgraded and rebuilt into a modern classic mega yacht with all the latest amenities and communication facilities.

Re-christened in September of 2003, by H.S.H. Princess Stephanie of Monaco, SS DELPHINE, is one of the most unique and exceptional yachts for private cruise and charter in the world. In 2004, she received the annual showboats award for best refit.

This 1965 Corvette represents an amazing confluence of features, and is among the rarest of all small block Sting Rays. With a matching numbers 327/365 under the hood, a 4-speed, and factory A/C, it is one of only 227 ever built, and 1964 and 65 were the only years GM permitted a high-revving solid lifter engine to carry an A/C compressor. Add in some wonderful options, the beautiful Glen Green over Saddle color combination, and you have one of the most desirable Corvette coupes of the 1960s. Glen Green was the second most popular color in 1965, and its easy to see why. It is both sophisticated and aggressive, being a favored color for years by racers from the British Isles. With just one repaint in its history, this stunning Sting Ray still looks great today. Never hit, the fiberglass is straight and clean, and the workmanship is first-rate throughout. It offers a lovely gloss, nicely aligned panels, and none of that over-restored look that so many cars show today. Instead, it looks authentic, just the way your new Corvette would have looked on the showroom floor in 1965. Those slender chrome bumpers, the bright rocker moldings, and all the emblems are in excellent condition, and its safe to say that this is most definitely a wolf in sheeps clothing. Combined with the dark green paint, the Saddle interior is ideal, giving the Corvette some old world charm and a timeless look that will never go out of fashion. The seats are in beautiful condition, with no splits or tears and only the most minor wear. Matching carpets were installed when the car was restored, and the door panels are like new. Crisply restored gauges keep an eye on the high-revving small block under the hood, and yes, the factory A/C is intact and fully functional. Other cool options include a teakwood steering wheel on a telescoping column, an AM/FM radio with power antenna, and power brakes. The cars true calling card lies under the hood. That is the original L76 327/365 horsepower V8, fully rebuilt and cackling like Satans own offspring. The engine bay has been detailed, from Chevy Orange paint on the engine, to the lovely cast aluminum valve covers. The components throughout the engine bay and chassis are correctly date-coded and factory markings have been accurately replicated. This is also a factory 4-speed car and carries its original Muncie transmission and rear end. Four-wheel disc brakes also became standard in 1965, making it one of the best driving C2 Corvettes you can own. The chassis is clean, but not over-detailed so you can enjoy this car in its natural environment instead of being forced to tuck it away in a trailer every time you take it out of the garage. Beautiful reproduction knock-off wheels wear appropriate gold stripe radials that complete the vintage look and maintain this Corvettes sophisticated air. Fast, rare, and handsome, this amazing Corvette is a blue-chip investment that you can drive and enjoy.

1962 Chevrolet Corvette Roadster. The owner is claiming that it is an original fuelie, but we can not verify. This Corvette comes with both a hard and soft convertible top, and a factory fuelie set up (fuel injection system comes with the car and is in the trunk). Currently running a carburetor for ease of driving, this 327 CID V8 and 4 speed manual setup running to 4:11 gears is very fun and will get you more attention than you can handle. Red paint, Corvette hub caps, and white wall tires just scream Classic! AM/FM radio, vinyl interior, radial white wall tires, hub caps, convertible tops, and dual exhaust top off the list of options. Just over 1,900 Corvettes rolled off the line with the fuel injection option in 1962 and pushed 360 horsepower from a 327! This is a real clean driver quality car and is priced as such. The block is not original but is a 327 from a 64-67 Corvette according to the casting numbers. This vehicle is located in our Louisville showroom, which can be reached at 812-294-1555.

The 1965 Chevrolet Chevelle is one of those timeless designs that looks good no matter how the car is built. Stock, modified, race, pro-touring, whatever; the clean lines and balanced stance on these tough looking muscle cars create a modern look with classic swagger that is an excellent platform for major modifications. Best of all, their universal appeal and high production numbers mean that the Chevelle has one of the largest networks of aftermarket support in the collector car hobby. Born from that awesome combination of appeal and support, this killer 1965 Malibu pro tourer mixes classic good looks with serious modern performance hardware to put a 21st century spin on a traditional crowd favorite.

During a complete nut and bolt rotisserie restoration, this Chevelle was entirely disassembled and striped of its original dull Ermine White paint. The body of the car was solid and presented itself as an excellent foundation for a slick first rate paint job with the exception of its massive flat quarter panels, which are typically a problem area with these Chevelles. After two new high quality quarters were installed, the rest of the body panels were bolted back to the chassis and perfectly straightened so that the entire car could be layered in a dynamic coat of rare Woodland Green Hummer paint. The result is a fantastic looking hot rod with a top notch, arrow straight body that oozes cool even when its sitting still.

Although this car isnt stripped entirely of stainless, ornamentation and trim was kept to a minimum to show of the killer green body panels and give the car a more intimidating presence. Up front, a pristine stainless grille houses four clear and bright headlights above a show worthy chrome bumper. At the top of the car, all new glass is complemented by like-new stainless trim, mirror-like stainless wipers and straight chrome drip rail moldings. At the sides of the car, new stainless wheel well openings combine with traditional chrome door handles and a chrome driver door mounted bowtie mirror to add some brightness to the forest of Woodland Green. On the rear fenders, painted blue Malibu SS ghost scripts, which are probably one of the coolest details Ive seen roll through our showroom in quite some time, are modeled perfectly after factory fender emblems and only visible in certain lighting from certain angles. At the back of the car, excellent looking traditional rear valence trim features a cool textured design and houses perfectly clear tail lights above a second show worthy chrome bumper. Although this car sounds deceptively simple, its classic looks and tasteful modifications make for one awesome ride that has a custom feel while retaining traditional muscle car style.

Lift the hood of this car and youll find a much less subtle modification in the form of a 5.3 liter (327 cubic inch) LS1 V8 that gives this Malibu plenty of performance to back up its tough looks. The first of GMs world renowned LS motors, this modern aluminum powerplant utilizes aftermarket Howell electronic fuel injection, coil near plug firing and flat top pistons to create 300 horsepower and roughly 350 ft./lb. of torque. In front of the silver motor, a custom fabricated and powder coated air intake houses a Spectre reusable air filter and reaches to the very front of the car to pipe clean and cool air into the cars composite intake. At the sides of the block, ceramic coated Hooker Super Competition headers send exhaust into a true dual system thats equipped with an H-pipe, mean sounding Flowmaster 50 series mufflers and side mounted stainless tips. At the front of the car a custom fabricated aluminum radiator sits beneath a satin finished radiator support in front of new Goodyear hoses and belts and two programmable Dakota Digital electric fans. Supplying those fans with power is a Howell wiring harness that, when combined with Howell O2 sensors ensures all the modern parts are communicating well and the hot small block is performing flawlessly. Aesthetically, the engine bay is modeled after the cars defining less is more approach; the hood, fenders and firewall are all finished in nice looking flat black paint that contrasts well with the silver engine block and there is hardly any brightwork to be found anywhere at all.

Underneath the car, power flows from a modern BM Super Cooler equipped 4L60E 4-speed automatic transmission, that was originally bolted under a fourth generation Camaro through a new driveshaft thats secured by a bolt-on driveshaft hoop to a completely rebuilt GM 10 bolt rear end. Housed within that original rear end is an Auburn Posi-traction unit with pavement pounding 3.73 gears that have no problem pinning the cars occupants to their seats. Holding that performance drivetrain off the ground is a complete Hotchkis performance suspension with an adjustable rear pinion angle, KYB performance shocks, power steering and four wheel power disc brakes. The cars spotless satin black floors are so clean that I doubt the car has ever seen significant road time at all and every single detail such as new stainless fuel lines, new stainless brake lines and a new stainless fuel tank has been completely sorted and rebuilt. At the corners of the car, a set of spectacular looking 17 inch Foose Nitrous wheels throw the power to the ground through 225/50 front and 255/50 rear Nitto Extreme Performance radials. The excellent Hotchkis suspension gives this car an awesome road hugging stance which, when combined with the modern engine and transmission provides excellent driving characteristics that are every bit as good as any modern muscle car.

Like the exterior, the cars interior is a masterful blend of old and new that features the comfort and convenience of modern technology wrapped in classic Chevrolet design. The 12-way power adjustable drivers seat, front passengers seat and rear bench seat were all taken from a 2000 Camaro and, along with the traditional 65 Chevelle door panels recovered in Sierra Leathermate Snow White upholstery that literally glows under our showroom lighting. Between the seats, a 2002 Camaro console wears its original gray factory hue and houses a factory fourth generation Camaro shifter for the cars 4L60E automatic transmission. Below the console, new black carpet rides on thick Dynamat insulation and is protected by black carpeted floor mats. In front of the driver, a great looking black and chrome 65 Chevelle dash looks perfectly natural holding cool new Classic Industries gauges above controls for the cars Hot Rod air conditioning and controls for the direct fit Ken Harrison AM/FM radio with MP3 compatibility. That direct fit radio sends sound to both kick panel mounted Infinity Kappa speakers and a rear Rockford Fosgate amplifier and subwoofer that are cleverly hidden below the cars rear package shelf. Connecting the driver to the road is a modern black Chevrolet steering wheel that sits on an Ididit steering column, features a red bowtie horn button and perfectly matches the dash pad. Security is enhanced by a keyless entry system that is complete with a vehicle alarm and door mounted Electra Life power windows and behind the cockpit, a custom lined and carpeted trunk looks better than the day the car rolled off GMs Atlanta assembly line.

One of the coolest things about this 65 Chevelle is the amount of documentation included in the sale. There are two folders full of information which contains enough part numbers and diagrams to literally rebuild the car if the new owner so desired ...For more information please call the seller.

When it comes to investment grade muscle cars, its hard to go wrong with a first generation Camaro. Recently winning Chevrolets factory sponsored poll for the Best Chevy of All Time these cars retain their value very well and are commanding ever increasing premiums in the marketplace. Many of you probably remember the spectacular numbers matching Lemans Blue Z/28 RS we recently sold that lasted less than two months and went out the door for $110K. And some of you might also remember the awesome numbers matching Hugger Orange Z/28 that left the showroom for an even $100K just before that. Our latest offering is one of the rarest investment grade Camaro Z/28s in existence. Featuring a 100% original powertrain, this 1969 Z/28 is a recipient of the Chevy Vettefest Gold Spinner Award, has been certified by Jerry MacNeish, and is believed to be the only Dover White and Orange houndstooth combo car left in existence. To top it off, this incredible car comes with not one, but two restored engines, including the original, numbers matching block on the side. Hows that for having your cake and eating it too?

Before we go any further, Ill go ahead and break down the VIN and cowl tag numbers for you.

VIN: 124379N645163

1 = Chevrolet  2 = Camaro  4 = 8 cylinder engine  37 = Coupe  9 = 1969 model  N = Manufactured in Norwood Ohio  645163 = Sequence number

COWL TAG:

69 = 1969 model  12437 = 12: Chevrolet Camaro, 4: Fixed digit, 37: Coupe  NOR = Assembled in Norwood Ohio  322474 = Fisher body number  720 = Orange houndstooth interior  50-50 = Dover White exterior  05C = C: Assembled during the third week, 05: of May, 1969  X77 = Z/28 Rally stripes

During the just completed restoration, this Camaro was stripped to a bare shell and rebuilt using expert craftsmanship and an acute attention to detail. All the steel on the car was worked until it was as straight as the moment it came out of the press to ensure correct panel gaps and a completely authentic appearance. Once the body was ready, GM code 50 Dover White was re-applied to each body panel and a set of correctly stenciled gloss black X77 Z/28 rally stripes were painted across the cars hood and decklid. The end result is an aggressive but sophisticated looking Camaro that has a feeling of cool confidence which is very reminiscent of the 60s. At the front of the car, a perfect silver painted and stainless trimmed grille houses clear and correct T3 headlights above a correct NOS Endura front bumper. Below that bumper, factory fresh marker lights are centered above a correct optional D80 front spoiler and house amber turn signal bulbs. Above the grille, a fresh chrome Camaro by Chevrolet emblem sits on the drivers side of the header panel in front of an optional ZL2 cowl induction hood with white inlayed 302 emblems. Behind the hood, flat finished stainless wipers clear a new looking windshield that, along with the rest of the cars like-new glass, features correct option A01 Soft Ray tinting. Bordering the front and rear windows of the car is factory straight stainless that complements bright like-new stainless rocker spears. On the profile of the car, front fender mounted chrome trimmed marker lights sit next to red and chrome Z/28 emblems which are aligned with chrome Camaro scripts just behind the front tires. Further back, pristine chrome door handles sit below a correct D33 optional remote controlled drivers side mirror and smooth Dover White body matched drip rails. At the back of the car, a correct optional D80 rear decklid spoiler carries correctly stenciled stripes to its bottom edge and lines up perfectly above showroom quality tail lights. Below those tail lights, a mirror-like chrome bumper wraps around the corners of the car to chrome trimmed marker lights and features vertical bumper guards that are centered below another pristine red and chrome Z/28 emblem.

As stated, this killer 1969 Z/28 comes with two 302 cubic inch V8 engines. The first is a correct DZ code block that is currently installed in the car, and the second is the cars actual numbers matching born with motor that has been professionally blue printed and restored by AMT Racing Engines. The cars previous owner opted to install a date correct block under the hood so he could drive it without worry. However, RK Motors Charlotte will be happy to install the numbers matching block back into the car if that is what the new owner desires.

The 302 mounted in the car is a correct Flint built DZ motor that was cast in May of 1969 and is conservatively rated from the factory at 290 horsepower. It features correct high performance rectangular port heads, a forged steel crankshaft, forged steel connecting rods, four-bolt mains and forged aluminum pistons to create an SCCA worthy 11 to 1 compression ratio and around 370 actual horsepower. At the top of the motor a GM ZL2 style satin black air filter displays a correct 302 Turbo Fire lid decal and a correct side mounted AC decal. Under that air filter, a correct Holley 4053 carburetor is fed by stainless fuel lines, controlled by a light green spring and displays a date code of 934. Under that carburetor, a correct Winter aluminum intake sits between correct C319 dated double hump heads that wear correct finned aluminum Corvette valve covers. At the sides of the motor, correct reproduction exhaust manifolds include correct heat shields and send exhaust into a correct reproduction exhaust system that exits at the rear of the car. At the back of the motor, a correct 9D2 date coded distributor sends power through correct Packard Suppression wires. And at the front of the motor, a correct date coded 9D28 alternator sits behind a correct L68 fan which is turned by fresh V-belts. In front of that fan, a correct radiator with a date code C overflow tank sits under a correct fan shroud next to a reproduction Delco battery. The engine compartment in this 69 Camaro is top notch in every way including correct GM hoses and tower clamps, detailed chalk markings and decals, correct hood insulation, and nicely sprayed Chevy Orange and satin black paint. The car even still retains its original 9204 brake booster and original date code 9D1 starter motor.

Included in the sale is the cars completely blue printed and restored original block, that is stamped with a V0507DZ assembly date and decodes as follows: (V) Flint Michigan (05) May (07) the seventh day of the month and (DZ) which classifies the block as a 69 Z/28 exclusive 302 V8. The block is also branded with a 3970010 casting number which confirms its status as a 1969 302, and an E18 casting date code which translates as May (E) first (1) 1968 (8). Stamped on the side of the block is the cars partial VIN of 19N645163 which confirms that it is indeed the original block for this 69 Dover White Z/28. Freshly rebuilt and equipped with a Comp cam and Sportsman Racing Products 202890 domed pistons, this 302 is bolted together and ready to be dropped right into the cars engine bay.

Behind the date code correct motor youll find an original Muncie M20 4-speed manual transmission that lives in a 660 transmission case and carries a P9D28A assembly stamping and a correct partial VIN of 19N645163. Turning the engines twist into usable thrust is the cars original 3894860NF 12-bolt posi-traction rear end that houses tall 3.73 gears and is stamped with a BU0506G1 assembly date and a D169 casting date ...For more information please call the seller.

Beautiful , professionally frame-off restored Packard Waterhouse Victoria Convertible with custom coachwork by Rollston. Very European look with the dual spares mounted in the rear ; I've been told only two cars exist like this , the other one in a private collection and not for sale. Huge 145 " wheelbase , low windshield and a long hood make this car especially attractive. Truly a very rare , hi- quality car with even rarer options like the beautiful woodlite lights and woodlite marker lights on the fenders , as well as a chrome bug shield in front of radiator. This beauty was once in the collection of the late famous collector Sam Vaughan and also of another huge collector and Texas billionaire , the late John O'Quinn , who paid over $300,000 for this car just a few years ago. Rare FOUR speed transmission and the in-line 8 cyl. engine is in great condition as is the rest of the car ; she's ready to tour. A serious car for a serious enthusiast. Asking price $325,000 / obo. Absolutely STUNNINGLY BEAUTIFUL 1929 Rolls Phantom II Imperial Cabriolet ( Town car / Sedanca ) Recent professional frame-off restoration including engine rebuild by famous marque specialist Brian Joseph. In remarkably great condition. Super provenance and history , beautiful one-off French Coachwork by Hibbard and Darrin. Asking $235,000. more info : Specifications: 120bhp 7,668 cc, inline six-cylinder engine, four-speed manual transmission, front and rear semi-elliptic leaf springs and power assisted four-wheel drum brakes. Wheelbase: 150" In September 1929, Rolls-Royce made the announcement that the Phantom I chassis would be discontinued. Following Sir Henry Royce’s staunch belief in evolution not revolution, the company decided it was time to replace the Phantom I with a more refined, updated chassis. Rolls-Royce debuted this new chassis – known today as the Phantom II – the following month at the Olympia Motor Show. Improvements included the use of both semi-elliptic springs for both front and rear axles. Of particular note was the PII’s rear springs, which were underslung. A considerable reduction in ride height was the result of the new rear spring layout. When combined with the PII’s new lower frame, the total reduction was on the order of nine inches. Phantom II production spanned a relatively brief period of time, only six years between 1929 and 1935; in all, approximately 1,767 examples of the Phantom II were produced. With the customer’s choice of coachwork from one of Europe’s leading firms, each individual Phantom II was highly distinctive and often tailor-made to the buyer. The Rolls-Royce Phantom II presented here was specially ordered by Robert T. Neely of New York, the founder of Nedick’s and Shanty Shops, a chain of 135 luncheonettes popular till the 1950s. At the time the Rolls-Royce was built, Mr. Neely’s net worth was nearly 10 million dollars. A testament to his wealth and appreciation of fine things, he built his summer home at Sands Point, next door to none other than Mr. William Randolph Hearst. It was indeed fitting that no expense was spared when building this beautifully coach built Rolls-Royce. Notably, the Rolls-Royce ordered by Mr. Neely, XJ-127, was one of the very first examples in the premier year of production of the Phantom II model, and was shipped to Paris to receive coachwork by Hibbard and Darrin. Despite being completely aluminum, the body was quite heavy, and extra supports were added to the frame to accommodate the added weight spanning the 12 1/2 ft wheelbase. The interior compartment, one of the car’s most unique aspects, is lavishly appointed and surrounds its occupants with opulent decadence. As expected, a divider window separates the passengers from the chauffeur, while a speaker system allows them to communicate with him at will. Not one for modesty, the rear compartment is trimmed with German plated gold hardware, and features a foux mink floor cover, a crystal decanter and glasses, the original perfume bottles and lighter, as well as jump seats and window blinds. Throughout the interior of the Rolls-Royce, one will find the Rose and Lily etchings duplicating Mr. Neely’s family crest, a lovely detail further enhancing its individuality. With security always an issue for the wealthy, there is even a hidden gun case built in the armrest of Mr. Neely’s side of the car. Other high-end interior appointments include walnut wood throughout and a Waltham eight-day clock. The leather-padded roof over the chauffeur’s compartment is completely removable for open air driving. The current owner reports that when first built, this magnificent example was toured from Paris throughout Europe for approximately 100 days, before being shipped to the United States aboard the “America Flyer”. Externally, the standout feature of this car is undoubtedly its exceptionally long, polished aluminum bonnet and cowl, the design of which was executed with the intention of creating a beautifully pronounced and flowing appearance. Notably, the employment of the raked windshield, extended bonnet, cowl section and long sweeping fenders – devoid of spare tires – is also duplicated on such prized Rolls-Royce models as the rare Henley Roadsters, as well as numerous other fully coach built and significant models. The dramatic lines of the automobile continue thoughtfully, and meet the dark midnight blue bodywork of the car with purposeful elegance. One of the first Phantom II models to display these features, it is further enhanced at the front of the car by the nickel-plated radiator and Marchal headlamps, finished at the rear with an unobtrusive, single-mount spare tire. In November 1962, at the age of 80, Robert T. Neely passed away and the car was sent to the Finelli Museum in Ohio. The previous owner acquired the Phantom II from the museum in 1999 and treated it to a proper restoration both cosmetically and mechanically. Marque expert Brian Joseph of Detroit performed all the engine work, which included a complete engine rebuild. The engine was also precision balanced and treated to all new wiring. The car received a thorough mechanical service, and we understand it is mechanically fit to participate in RROC tours and events around the globe. This Phantom II, with its polished aluminum bonnet, elegant coachwork and beautifully presented interior, will certainly appeal to those with a predilection for the most opulent and beautiful examples of the period , and she's priced to sell below the cost of the restoration. Asking $235,000 Can ship anywhere on the Globe.

1976 Porsche 934-5 VIN: 9306700152 With Yellow Road Atlanta Period Livery with Black Interior -- This is the famous Whittington Brothers Road Atlanta 934-5. Extensive Trans Am, IMSA History. Comprehensive restoration to the highest quality standards was performed on this extremely successful Porsche racing car. This particular car was sold new via Vasek Polak to Paul Miller who raced the car in the Trans-Am and IMSA in 934 trim. Its second owner, Mike Tillson, ran the car in 1977, before selling the car to the Whittington Brothers (who owned Road Atlanta) who raced the car from 1978 to 1981. They updated the car to 935 specifications in 1977, including bodywork and twin-turbocharged engine, and fitted the car with 935 K3 bodywork in 1980. Kevin Jeanette acquired the car in 1988, and performed a light restoration prior to selling the car to Paul Reisman in 1989. Reisman raced the car in HSR events until 2000, when he traded the car for an ex-Peter Gregg car. The cars current owner has used it in a number of races and had a comprehensive restoration performed at a cost of over $300,000, which was completed in August of 2009. The restoration included nearly every significant component and system of the car, including full engine rebuild, gearbox, brakes, suspension, wheels, bodywork, and electrical system. The safety systems were renewed as well, and the chassis, bodywork, and roll cage were also restored. The fuel cell was also replaced. The engine was built by Bernie Buschen and dynoed by Jerry Woods. The car has been run once since completion, at the Monterey Historics in 2009, where it proved to be 3 seconds faster than it was when it last run there by the same driver. The engine runs at 1.3 actual bar with shifts at 7200rpm, a relatively conservative setup for this car. The car has a recent FIA passport, already paid for and en route, as well as Historic Technical Passport. The car is in excellent freshly-restored cosmetic condition following its comprehensive restoration. The cars period Whittington Brother livery has been faithfully recreated. The bodywork, glazing and lights are outstanding and like new, as are the wheels. The interior is spotless and beautifully prepared, as are the engine and front compartment. The car comes with a number of spares including the non-K3 935 bodywork and the original seat, as well as the disassembled engine, number 6980031, which was previously in the car. The car also comes with a racing documentation. Jameslist - à vendre : DeTomaso Pantera (640000 USD), lieu : France

Extremely rare 1972 works De Tomaso Pantera group 4, one of only 14 units ever built by the factory. When De Tomaso launched his racing program for his new and promising Pantera, they decided to build a racing version of the car that would be eligible for the FIA group 4 class. Only 14 units have been built with a special lightweight chassis (Type 874A – A stands for Alleggerita), and immediately entered major international races. One of the most important events in 1972 was the 24 hours of Le Mans, with four factory group 4 Pantera registered at the race. Despite the superb results for the qualifying sessions (a Pantera did the best qualifying time in group 4 class), the result in the race itself were very disappointing. It is now commonly known that with more time to properly prepared the cars, the Pantera would have been front runners in that race.

Ecurie Franco-Britannic entered the race with a factory group 4 Pantera driven by Vinatier and Chasseuil. This is the car we are proud to offer today. The history of this car is very well known, crystal clear and documented from the beginning including the entry form of the 1972 24 hours of Le Mans, and the name of all owners. It is important to point out that the chassis number of the car is #2824, but for some unknown reasons the factory re-stamped the chassis with #2342 before delivering it to Franco-Britannic in 1972. The last owner, Dick Lasselle who purchased the car in 1993, started to search for the history of the car. His perseverance has paid off, as he managed to get in touch with every single owner of the car and got some information directly from the former Franco-Britannic manager, Mike Moule. With the help of Claudia Lodi from the De Tomaso factory, he managed to clarify the history behind the double chassis number. An official period document from the factory showed the list of all 14 factory group 4 with their chassis numbers. On that document, the #2824 appears with another number #2342 in brackets. Claudia Lodi confirmed that there were two chassis numbers attached to that car but could not find out the reason why the factory did that. Mike Moule also confirmed that Franco-Britannic did not know the actual chassis number of the car was not #2342 but #2824 at that time, and that the factory re-stamped it prior delivery.

The history of the double chassis number is thus clear and documented. It is important to note that most of the racing history of the car will appear with #2342.

This De Tomaso Pantera group 4 has known a great racing career (see entire racing history under the pictures). During its European racing history with Franco-Britannic between 1972 and 1974, it raced in Le Mans, Montlhéry, Dijon and Paris. It was then sold to Bob Grossman and exported to the US in 1974. It raced in the Trans-Am 500, in the world championship of manufacturers in Watkins Glen, in the 12 hours of Sebring. From 1976, and until 1980 it raced in the SCCA championship in the USA.

It was then bought by a dealer in 1985 when it was abandoned and had not raced for years. It then knew several owners in the US before being purchased by Dick Lasselle in 1993. He had the car restored an entered it in vintage racing (SVRA and HSR championships) with top results. It always finished in the top two of its class in every race it entered. It even did a first overall in a SVRA race in Watkins Glen in 2003 (ahead of Porsche 906, 908 and Lola T70’s), and at Limerock in 2010 (fastest lap)

This is an awesome car, extremely efficient and reliable at the same time. The engine has only been used for 5 hours of racing. It has been dynoed at 567 HP with a single Holley carb. In 2001, the ZF gearbox has been rebuilt by Rick Bell Motorsports (Rick has been the driver of the car in most vintage events) and the engine has been fully restored by a Nascar engine builder. Many upgrades have been added to the engine to get more horsepower and torque, but also to improve the reliability. A lightweight crank has been fitted, as well as Aussie Cleveland heads, a Victor Jr intake or titanium valves. The engine has been dynoed at 491 HP and 477 ft/pounds of torque at 5.400 rpms. The power peak is at 7.500 rpms with 567 HP. Regarding the reliability, as the cooling is one of the weakest point on the Pantera, a huge work has been carried out during several years to solve the problem definitely. The firm Evans cooling system has built a custom cooling system for the Pantera. Is it made of a 5 stages dry sump oil pump, a liquid to liquid oil cooler, a special aluminum radiator, a special water pump and a custom aluminum coolant lines. With a proper coolant, the car never overheats whatever the race and weather conditions.

This factory group 4 Pantera is probably one of the most important. It is one the only to have been raced in Europe and in the US, racing in Le Mans, or Watkins Glen for the world championship. The history is crystal clear, which is rare on a race car, it has never been damaged, and is currently in its original specs, with its Girling brakes, and alloy doors, bonnets and rear deck lid. It is the ideal car to enter any major vintage racing event such as Le Mans Classic, the French Tour Auto, the Spa 6 hours, the Monterey historic races or Goodwood.

It has to be pointed out that for the 2012 edition of Le Mans Classic, it will be the 40th anniversary of the first race of a Pantera in Le Mans. It will be a unique event the future owner can of course race in with this awesome Pantera group 4.

For our customers who would like to race the car in Europe, we can assist them in getting FIA HTP papers, which will be a mere formality for such a car. We have noted that few modifications will have to be carried out to get the HTP : a new FIA rollcage, and new seats, shoulder harnesses and fire extinguishers.

The car is immediately available in the US. It will come with a comprehensive file of documents showing the history. The price includes shipping in any European country as well as European taxes.

In 1940, a top of the line Ford De Luxe wagon could be had for a hefty $950 dollars and was considered a symbol of success and prosperity. Over the years, most of these scarce wagons have been relegated to carefully stored concours level trailer queen status and rarely see any road time at all. This fully detailed, road ready 1940 Ford De Luxe features a potent small block Chevy engine, a modern sport tuned suspension, a custom boxed frame and updated interior amenities wrapped in one of the coolest vehicles ever produced.

With its attractive styling, the 1940s De Luxe series has always been highly sought by rodders, customizers which made them a cultural icon. In 2008, this Ford De Luxe wagon was completely restored by Treehouse Woods Automotive Woodworking. After almost two years of bodywork and carpentry, the refurbishing was complete and the car was re-fitted with a correct Birds Eye Maple body that presents just as well as it did when the car rolled out of Fords Iron Mountain manufacturing facility. The smooth and ripple free body was then covered in GM Light Mesh Brown (code B89451F) which almost appears pale yellow until you get up close to the car. At that point, youre immediately taken by how immaculate the varnished body looks and how well every piece fits together from the doors that hang on traditional bear claw hinges to the finger jointed trim pieces. At the nose of the car, streamlined styling flows from a flat-topped hood that reaches high into the air serving as the main focal point for the cars front end. Below the hood, a stainless grille flows along the hood line to the bumper and is flanked by Ford Deluxe exclusive body colored grilles that feature horizontal stainless dividers. Below the grille a curved chrome bumper shines like new and complements fender mounted, new for 1940 sealed beam headlights that are heavily trimmed in chrome. Stainless trim that runs from the grille to the windshield incorporates a hood latch with a painted red V8 script. At the sides of the hood, streamlined stainless trim runs from the corners of the grille to awesome curved rearview mirrors and sits above chrome Ford De Luxe emblems that are outlined in red. The divided windshield features new glass trimmed in stainless and two stylized chrome wipers that are anchored to the cowl at the center of the windows. Above the windshield, a new fabric top runs the entire length of the wood panel body and parallels new covered running boards and new chrome door handles all around. At the back of the car, a brown spare tire holder includes a chrome hubcap and trim ring, and sits above another show worthy chrome bumper. Correct chrome trimmed tail lights with chrome loomed wires sit on body colored mounts and complement a locking gas cap complete with a Ford script lock cover. Traditional body matched steel wheels with chrome center caps, chrome trim rings and red Ford De Luxe stampings sit at all four corners and wear 205/70/14 front and 235/75/15 rear Firestone wide white wall tires.

While this Ford De Luxe wagon isnt a hot rod or custom in the strictest sense of the word, it has been modified to provide a better performance. Flip up the hood latch and youll find a 350 Chevrolet crate engine sitting snuggly between glossy Light Mesh Brown inner fenders. A chrome air cleaner sits on top of a Weber 4 barrel carburetor that is complete with stainless fuel lines, a visible fuel filter and Lokar linkages in braided sleeves. Under that carburetor, a chrome Edelbrock Performer EPS intake looks great between chrome valve covers complete with a chrome Moroso breather. At the rear of that intake, a chrome sleeved coil sends power to a points distributor which feeds loomed Accel Super Stock wires. The chrome theme continues at the front of the motor with fresh belts driving a chrome alternator, a chrome AC compressor, a chrome water pump and a chrome power steering pump with braided hoses via Billet pulleys. A Griffin aluminum radiator is sandwiched between a crank driven flex fan and a nose mounted electric fan and features a chrome overflow tank. At the sides of the motor, stylish Sanderson exhaust manifolds sit next to a Painless Wiring harness on the left of the car and fresh hoses for the air conditioning on the right of the car. Theres plenty of power at any RPM thanks to the reliable 350 and all necessary components are in place for trouble free motoring.

Armed with the knowledge that woodies require a lot of special structural support for their organic bodies, the owner of this car started with a boxed Fat man frame and built in drivability from there. Housed behind the motor youll find a newly refurbished 700R4 automatic transmission that provides effortless cruising and good fuel economy. The transmission feeds power to a bulletproof Ford 9 inch rear end that houses stout but street friendly 3.73 gears. At the front of the car, a double A-arm suspension houses tubular control arms and stainless coil over shocks. And at the back of the car, youll find a factory leaf suspension complete with a heavy duty sway bar. A frame mounted brake booster sends power to front GM disc and rear GM drum brakes and combines with power steering to make for easy turning and stopping. Fuel is supplied to new stainless fuel lines from a new stainless gas tank and exhaust flows from the Sanderson manifolds into a true dual system with great sounding turbo mufflers. Aesthetically, the bottom of the car looks good with satin black floors, a satin black frame with stainless hardware and a semi-gloss driveshaft and axle.

Open the door of this wagon to find 1940s era luxury with modern updates. The maroon leather bench seats are in excellent shape and combined with the like new maroon carpet, floor mats and kick panels contrasts nicely against the Birds Eye Maple body and Light Mesh Brown dash. In front of you, the body matched dash features stainless brightwork and aftermarket Haneline gauges in a nice turned aluminum gauge panel. Below the dash, aluminum knobs for the Vintage Air air conditioning system are housed in a Birds Eye Maple enclosure above chrome trimmed foot pedals. A body matched steering column includes a shifter for the 700R4 and a banjo style steering wheel with a V8 hood button that has been customized to include a Birds Eye Maple rim. Door panels are simple wood pieces with Birds Eye Maple housings for manual chrome door handles and up/down grab handles for the Autolock power windows. Open the glove box and youll find controls for the SecretAudio sound system that is complete with Eclipse speakers mounted under the dash. In the back cargo area, custom Birds Eye Maple boxes house more Eclipse speakers below a crank out rear window. The interior is simple, but striking and no corners were cut in making it comfortable and driver friendly.

Documentation included with this Ford De Luxe is a copy of original owners New York registration, summarized restoration receipts that total over 100K and recent maintenance receipts.

If youre looking for a unique ride with some of the best modern car technology money can buy, youve found the right car. This 1940 Ford De Luxe wagon is exceptionally well done and utilizes top shelf components for a completely street ready ride and looks spectacular from any angle. I cant think of anything more unique, and chances are youre not going to find anything cooler for the money. Call today!

This is an unique automobile , given that its bodywork has been beautifully crafted from pure copper sheet. The standard of workmanship is the finest we have ever seen and is polished to perfection. For the vintage Rolls-Royce collector searching for an unique and highly glamorous , sporting Rolls-Royce from the great period of automobile design this is an unparallelled opportunity. The chassis appears to have done very little mileage and is in pristine condition .Within the last two years 130XJ has had an entire engine rebuild , including a new clylinder head.During its time with us we have driven the car several thousand miles trouble free.

40/50 hp 7,668 cc overhead valve, aluminium head, in-line six-cylinder engine, four-speed manual transmission, four-wheel mechanical drum brakes with servo assist, front and rear semi-elliptical suspension. Wheelbase: 150"

- Rolls-Royce Foundation documentation
- Meticulously crafted unique one-off all-copper body by Brockman
- Proven Phantom II mechanicals with numbers-matching engine/chassis

Rolls-Royce introduced the Phantom II in 1929 as an evolutionary replacement for the Phantom I, or New Phantom as it was then known. Without any increase in price, the Phantom had been radically redesigned, resulting in a very fine car having little in common with its predecessor other than the cylinder bore and stroke dimensions. Most notable was the revised rear suspension now comprised of semi-elliptics front and rear (the rear ones being underslung) thereby reducing the height of the car. The engine was fundamentally the same though fitted with a new cross-flow head and a self-cleaning oil filter which was scraped clean by a novel mechanism connected to the clutch linkage. The engine, clutch and gearbox were now one unit, and centralised chassis lubrication was offered for the first time. This most certainly lightened the work load of the chauffeur or mechanic who had to lubricate no fewer than 84 points on the Phantom I every one thousand miles!

Chassis 130XJ was delivered to Barker & Co., Ltd. by road on 1 March, 1930. According to Rolls-Royce Foundation records, instructions included the installation of springs for a Pullman Limousine deVille and “used for extensive Continental touring.” Extra was charged for silver-plated fittings including radiator shutters. Little else is known about its intervening history, though the car has been owned by notable collectors James C. Leake, Oklahoma (1973), Michael L. Shinn, Colorado (1982), and Millard W. Newman, Florida (1986), from whom it was acquired by the Hooper Corporate Collection.

It is unknown exactly when this right-hand drive, long-wheelbase car was fitted with new coachwork, reputed to have been constructed by Dick Brockman & Company, Reading, United Kingdom. Brockman was a small coachbuilder that primarily bodied Rolls-Royce and Bentley automobiles during 1924-1937. The remarkable body is of solid copper – it is polished and not painted, requiring meticulous installation. It must be perfectly constructed so as not to reveal any imperfections It is the only Rolls-Royce ever produced with a solid copper body. . The engine remains the one with which the car was first delivered in 1930. The interior and dash are of wood construction, and the green leather seats exhibit a patina that lets one know that this car is meant to be used and driven. For collectors in search of something truly unique, what better choice than a copper-bodied Phantom II Rolls-Royce?

Three owners from new, including noted Ford historian Lorin Sorensen, who owned it for 44 years. Columbia 2-speed rear axle. Highly original, with a 2004 refresh that included varnish and paint. 100% original wood and interior, mechanically excellent. This 1940 Ford Deluxe 8-passenger wagon carries body number 11725, making it very likely the last 1940 wagon built at Ford’s Iron Mountain assembly plant. Fully documented with just three owners from new, including Lorin Sorensen, the noted Ford Historian, who owned it from 1964 to 2008. Never completely disassembled, it was treated to a body-on refurbishing in 2004, which included fresh varnish, new paint, and a rebuilt 221 cubic inch flathead. Today it shows 20,000 miles on the odometer, but the correct number is believed to be just over 47,000 original miles, making it an extraordinary survivor. The body has never been off the chassis, and the wood remains original throughout. The joints are exceptionally tight, and the overall condition is simply stunning. None of the usual wooden automobile issues can be found, with the unusual gumwood panels (in place of the usual birch) remaining in spectacular condition. The Garnet Maroon paint remains in near show-quality condition today. Almost all of the chrome and trim is original, including the unique extendable side mirrors, further evidence of this car’s miraculous preservation throughout the decades. Even the glass appears to be factory-issue, with only slight delamination issues in the rear window, but not significant enough to warrant replacement. The leather-grain top was replaced at the same time using correct reproduction materials and a proper edge bead. A fresh 221 cubic inch flathead was supplied in the crate by Dennis Carpenter, and the engine bay was restored to a period correct, although not over-detailed, condition. Upgrades include a 12-volt electrical system with an alternator inside the original generator’s case, as well as a vacuum-assisted braking system that greatly improves the Ford’s stopping power and safety. The 3-speed manual transmission is original to the car, and the aforementioned Columbia 2-speed rear axle is fully functional, allowing effortless cruising at modern highway speeds. Aside from the re-varnished wood, the rest of the passenger compartment remains untouched. The seats are undamaged, and the leather material remains supple and flexible, with no cracking or splitting. All the gauges remain functional, the radio hums, but unfortunately the clock is not working. The tailgate retains all its original hardware, including the leather-wrapped assist spring. Few restored cars can match this Deluxe woody’s combination of authenticity and originality, as well as its known ownership history that includes a noted Ford expert, making it a very special car indeed. Carefully preserved and enjoyed by just three owners, this is an excellent example of what many regard as the ultimate woody wagon. But because it is not priced at a large six figure dollar amount, I guess we have to call it something and that would be a True Muscle Car. COPO cars with a code of 9561 was a special run of 69 Camaros equipped with the cast iron 427ci, 425hp, L72 engine from the Corvette, many of which ended up as Yenko Camaros. In 1970, Buick introduced a Brand New Brand of Buick called the GSX. The GSX Stage 1 was Buicks answer to Pontiacs GTO Judge and Chevrolets Chevelle SS454.Modestly rated at 360hp and 510 ft./lb. of torque, the GSX Stage One was described by some as a more luxurious HEMI Cuda because of its lighter weight and amazing power. This particular example, a numbers matching, 4 speed Concours Gold winner at both the Buick Performance Group Nationals and GS Nationals in 2010, is a true investment grade car that has all of the right stuff. Oh, and did we mention it won the 2010 A Body of The Year Award?

Before we get to the details, lets break down the original fender tag:

70 - Model Year 4 Buick 46 GS 37 2 Door Coupe FL 1 Assembled in Flint Michigan 254189 Production Sequence 188 Black Vinyl Trim 10-10 Apollo White

That pristine Apollo White comes courtesy of a frame-off rotisserie restoration by Then and Now Automotive in Woodstock Georgia. Literally every nut and bolt on this awesome GSX Stage 1 has been replaced to factory standards and showroom shine to ensure that it gets the most points possible from any discerning judge. Every weld and gap is perfect making for excellent panel fit and functionality giving this Buick a menacing, yet luxurious appearance. Check out how well the GSX specific painted headlight housings match the Apollo White hood and fenders. Notice that the standard black GSX side stripe lines up perfectly with the GSX specific rear spoiler. Step closer and admire how the GSX hood stripes flow together around the functional cold air induction into the familiar Buick grille.

As the elegant beauty of this car draws you in, youll find that no detail was overlooked. Chrome bumpers, door handles and window trim add an element of class that puts the more in more luxurious. The combination of black, white and chrome is complemented by small splashes of color like the rear GSX decals and redpin stripping around the GSX side stripe. Red, white and blue Buick tri-shield center caps are bolted to GSX specific chrome trimmed 15 inch Rallye wheels. Those subtle yet stylish Rallye wheels are wrapped in reproduction Super Wide Oval tires, just like the car left the factory with. And if there is any question as to whether those tires can spin, a hood mounted tachometer reinforces the credentials of this muscle car in a tuxedo.

Making those tires spin and that tach peg is an engine which held the title of highest torque rating in an American car until 33 years after its release. Buicks mighty 455 big block was one of the first motors to utilize thin wall casting and as a result is lighter than a comparable Chevrolet 454. Take one look under the hood at the numbers matching 455 and youll see why this GSX is a gold winning car. Everything from the battery to the decals has been restored to showroom quality and nothing less than best of show. This beautifully restored example was upfitted from the factory with the Stage 1 performance package which added a hotter cam, bigger valves, low restriction exhaust and revised jets in the Rochester Quadra-Jet carburetor. The result is an unpublished rating of 425hp and a ride that youll never forget.

But what would an unforgettable ride be without the hardware to utilize all that power? This Buick came equipped from the factory with the Rallye Ride Control Package which features a rear stabilizer bar, firmer front and rear shocks, rear firm ride springs and rear lower control arm assemblies. Connecting that massive power with this enhanced driving system is a factory option, numbers matching close-ratio 4-speed transmission. Equipped in only 188 Buick GSXs for 1970, that transmission sends the torque to the ground via 3.64 gears in a numbers matching high performance BuickPosi-Traction rear axle. At the front corners, factory power assisted discs and at the rear corners, factory power assisted drums bring everything to a stop. The guys at Then and Now topped off the restoration with a new fuel tank, new fuel lines, new brake lines, new body mounts and a fresh GM black undercoating. Now that the elegant looks of this Buick have lured you in and the VIN stamped powertrain has evoked dreams of tire melting horsepower, open the door and sit in the GSX exclusive bucket seats. Even after 40 years the car still feels luxurious and comfortable. The gauge cluster features a clock and brightwork set against wood grain texture. The seats and door panels feature upgraded vinyl and add to the fresh feeling created by the nicer GSX dash. But dont get too cozy in that seat. This interior was available in only one color for a reason; to be taken seriously. Grab hold of the GSX Rallye steering wheel in one hand and glance out the window over the massive 455 toward the hood mounted tachometer. Grab the Hurst shifter in the other hand and imagine slower, less luxurious muscle cars disappearing in your mirrors.

This sale includes documentation from the GSX Historic Society showing the car to be GSX number 622 of 678 produced for 1970. Also included are Concours gold plaques from the GS Nationals and Buick Performance Group Nationals.

If you want the very best restored 1970 Buick GSX 455 4 speed on the planet-here it is for your enjoyment. Documented, numbers matching, expertly restored and judged at the highest level-this IS the best of the best. If the very best is your standard, this is your GSX!

Automotive history lives and breathes at RK Motors Charlotte. You know we are passionate about vintage racing, having completely restored Project Six Pack to its original state, and more recently presenting the legendary Arlen Vankes 1967 HEMI Barracuda. Today we are pleased to announce yet another milestone race vehicle coming to us from one of the top names in the Camaro hobby. The car is Dave Sticklers 1968 Camaro Z/28 that won the 1968 Super Stock World Championship, and the man is Camaro historian and authenticity expert, Jerry MacNeish. The car has been comprehensively restored to as-raced condition, including some incredibly rare NOS items that came from Jerrys personal collection. If there is a more thoroughly documented, well-known, relevant and accurate early Camaro out there, Id like to see it. Make no mistake: this is the ultimate Z/28 and the cornerstone of any significant Chevrolet muscle collection.

Racing legend Dave Strickler dominated NHRA Super Stock racing during the 1968 season with this Bill Grumpy Jenkins-prepared Z/28 Camaro. Equipped with a stock intake manifold and carburetor, stock hood, Stahl Headers, 5.38 gears, and nine-inch slicks, the Old Reliable ran elapsed times in the 11.70s at 116 mph, making it competitive with many big-block Super Stock Camaros. Its dominance culminated in two of Sticklers biggest wins: on Sunday, October 6, 1968, Strickler drove to a decisive victory over a stellar field at the NHRA Super Stock All-Star Meet at Englishtown Raceway Park. Two weeks later, he went on to capture the 1968 Super Stock World Championship in Tulsa, Oklahoma, then the most prestigious S/S event on the NHRA calendar.

The Old Reliable Z/28 was featured in over 30 automotive publications during 1968 and 1969, making it the most famous Z/28 Camaro in race car history! Champion Spark Plugs, and Hooker Headers, two original sponsors, featured this car in their 1968 national advertising, placing ads in virtually all major automotive publications. Thousands of Camaro enthusiasts throughout the country were influenced by this World Class Camaro.

The Dave Strickler legacy speaks for itself: sixteen national class championships, forty-one national and world records, and a world championship title.

Following the 1968 season, this car was retired from active competition and sold, presumably lost to history. This was common at the time, as top racers knew that the factory would supply them with a new car each year, and old racing cars were not historically noteworthy at the time. Of course, we know differently today, but for more than 20 years, the Old Reliable Camaro languished in obscurity, trading hands twice, and being raced in relative anonymity at tracks all over the country. It was always a well-prepped car, but there was nothing beyond its incredible history that would make it immediately recognizable once the factory Corvette Bronze paint was covered up.

In March of 1993, Jerry MacNeish located and purchased Dave Stricklers Old Reliable Z/28 race car. It was actually through the help of Michael Strickler (Daves son) that MacNeish was able to track the car down. The Strickler family had kept documentation with the vehicles VIN number. Based on that, Jerry located the exact car used to win the 1968 World Championship and bought it on the spot, knowing what he had found. According to an article in Musclecar Review magazine, the car was just days away from being cut up for scrap when Jerry rescued it. Later, he discovered that the car still carried its original ball joint spacers, proving that this was EXACTLY the car Dave Strickler drove to the World Championship.

In the summer of 1993, the detailed restoration began. Jerrys intention was to restore the car to the exact condition in which it was campaigned in 1968. Drawing on extensive research, historical documents, photographs, articles, and other sources, Jerry and his team were able to precisely duplicate the cars decals and lettering (all of which was done by hand, as original, by the way). Mechanically, the car was better than new in every way, with upgrades that would make it competitive with modern machinery in NHRAs Stock Eliminator Class.

In the summer of 1994, Old Reliable made its debut at Super Chevy Weekend held at Maple Grove Raceway in Reading, PA. It was still equipped with an original balanced and blue printed 302 engine. In 1994, the Old Reliable Z/28 Camaro won the prestigious Best of Show Award at the US Camaro Nationals held in Dearborn, Michigan. In 1995, MacNeish finished the racing season placing 11th in Division One out of 185 drivers in NHRAs Stock Eliminator Class. In 1998, Old Reliable ran consistent elapsed times in the 11.20s at over 119 mph, (and thats without a crossram!). Not too bad for a stock 302 engine.

In 2002, Old Reliable with Jerry at the wheel won the Delmar, Delaware US-13 NHRA divisional points race and finished out the season in the top 10 placing 8th for the year in Division One and 24th in NHRA world points. At that point, the Old Reliable ran 10.80s at almost 123 MPH. Since 1998, it has accomplished many NHRA class wins and several Stock Eliminator wins.

In January of 2008, Jerry MacLeishs company, Camaro Hi-Performance, dismantled this car and did the necessary restoration work to put this Z/28 back to its original 1968 race configuration when it won the NHRA world championship title. Every detail is correct, down to the virtually unobtainable original Stahl front drag tires, Stahl tachometer, and rare cowl plenum air cleaner.

According to the original Pennsylvania title that comes with the car, this Camaro was never registered and as a race car, why would it be? As a result, it might be one of the lowest-mileage 1968 Camaros in existence and despite its history at the race track, much of it was in astoundingly original condition. During the 1993 restoration, the floors were replaced, and the hood and trunk lid were replaced with NOS pieces because a previous owner had installed fiberglass reproductions. All the original trim was still on the car and it was fully polished and restored as well. The cars original Corvette Bronze paint was duplicated in 2-stage urethane for a killer shine that will last for another 40 years. Youll note that the stripes have been embedded in the clear and are not decals as original, but this is definitely an improvement. Before you accuse them of taking the easy way out, however, note that they even went so far as to duplicate the decals cut-out around the trunk-mounted Camaro emblem most painters paint the strip and just install the badge over it. The quarter panels required a great deal of restoration work, since they had been cut and mangled by a previous owner to fit larger slicks, but those are, indeed, the original quarters.

Once the paint was in place and polished to perfection, Jerry and his team of craftsmen painstakingly duplicated every decal, every stripe, and every letter on the original cars paint scheme. If the original decal was vinyl, the new ones were made in vinyl. If it was hand-painted, it was again hand-painted on the car. Nothing was overlooked, and comparing photos from 1968 and from today, you need to look at the clothes people are wearing to determine which is the original and which is the restored car. Although the car was actively raced for a decade since it was restored, theres very little evidence of it ...For more information please call the seller.

This is probably one of the nicest built Novas we have ever had. It looks absolutely beautiful and drives nicer than any Pro Street bad-ass that I have ever driven. And man does this thing fly, off pump gas (89 octane) to boot!! Check it out!! The body is all steel and laser straight, solid and clean. It has to be to show off the brand new beautiful show quality Diamond Black base/clear paint. Most of the chrome is new as well as all the weatherstripping. The custom tweed interior is very nice and tastefully done. The seats are high back fully adjustable racing buckets that are also covered in tweed and for you guys with young kids, there is even a matching baby seat bolted to the floor for shorty to go cruising with dad too!! It does have a 10 point cage that has drop down bars for easy entry and exit. It has a painless wiring system with switchbox. It also has Autometer gauges and there is a Hurst 1/4 stick pistol grip shifter with line lock too. Now to the good stuff!! This engine is a ground pounder but runs off pump gas and will not, and I repeat, will not run hot. We drove this car to the track last weekend in 90 degree heat and high humidity and the hottest it ever got was 175 degrees. And that was sitting in the staging lanes waiting our turn to unleash this bad-ass down the 1/4 mile -- more about that later!! We were told that it is a 408 c.i. big block that was professionally built and set up as a blower motor, meaning it has a steel crank, dimple rods, 8.5 to 1 blower pistons, worked 990 heads, a .588 lift roller cam and roller rockers, a 671 Weiand blower with 2 custom built and worked 750 Holley carbs. It all breathes through large tube headers and 3.5" custom exhaust. The trans is a professionally built race prepped TH-400 with a forward manual valvebody and a 3500 stall converter. The rear is a bullet proof spooled Dana 60 with 4:30 gears and Strange axles. All this makes for one fun ride!! This car was built to drive, race and enjoy. It is mini-tubbed with 10" Weld Outlaw wheels with Mickey Thompson E/T street radial tires. It has QA-1 coliovers with ladderbar rear suspension, rack and pinion steering, 4 wheel Wilwood disc brakes, a 15 gallon stainless steel fuel cell, a digital ignition box and the list goes on and on. This is a very well done, thought out built car and not a slapped together hack job!! It was done with attention to detail and was beautifully restored. I guarantee that it will turn heads wherever you may go and put a huge smile on your face when you crack open the throttle. FYI - We made only two passes and the best E/T was 11.186 @ 121.01 m.p.h, smoking the tires through the 60 foot marker and that is off 89 octane pump gas. That is the way you see it right now. Tweak on it some and I promise you will run in the 10s!! Don't miss it. Fall Special $31,999 FIRM
