If you were the most powerful man on earth, chances are that security and maximum performance are the main two ingredients you would want in a helicopter. This just might be why Sikorsky has been the long-time choice as the Marine One – the chopper equivalent of the Air Force One. If that isn’t a testament to the rigidity of the helicopters from Sikorsky, then what is?

The choice is really a no-brainer. Sikorsky has always been on the forefront of helicopter innovation and development, ever since manufacturing the first mass-produced chopper in 1942. A major defense contractor (Black Hawk, anyone?), the company is always widening its horizons, setting sights on the commercial market.
